Dündar Hot Environment fans are specially designed centrifugal fans that can handle temperatures up to 120 degrees. They are used for ventilating and cooling existing environments.
The required air exchange rate for the ventilated environment depends on its usage purpose, the number of people, and activities involved. Below is a table showing the required air exchange coefficients for different environments:
Environment | Air Exchange Coefficient |
---|---|
Auditoriums | 6-8 |
Paint Booths | 25-50 |
Safe Deposit Rooms | 3-6 |
Cinemas and Theaters | 5-8 |
Commercial Kitchens | 15-30 |
Foundries | 8-15 |
Gymnasiums | 4-6 |
Laundry Rooms | 10-20 |
Indoor Pools | 3-4 |
Restaurants | 8-12 |
Conference Rooms | 6-8 |
Waiting Rooms | 4-8 |
Machine Rooms | 10-40 |
Based on these, the required air flow is calculated as follows:
Q [m³/hour] = Air exchange coefficient (per hour) × Room volume (m³)
Or
Q [m³/hour] = Number of people × Air flow per person
After determining the required air flow, an appropriate duct design (considering noise and air speed criteria) should be made, and pressure losses should be calculated. Depending on the environment where the fan will operate, the fan type (axial, radial, roof, smoke extraction, etc.) should be chosen, and an appropriate fan curve should be selected based on the determined flow-static pressure pair.
