What is a Radial Fan?
Radial fans are fans that create pressure differences. The airflow generated by them works in the direction of centrifugal force. A centrifugal fan is a mechanical device used to move air or other gases. These fans contain a rotating impeller, similar to a pump, and a helical chamber where the impeller is located. The air or gas enters parallel to the axis, gets pressurized, then transferred tangentially to the impeller's surrounding channels, and is discharged through the outlet. Due to the high pressure they generate, centrifugal fans are ideal for high-pressure applications such as drying and air conditioning systems. Since all moving parts are enclosed, they are also suitable for use in air pollution and filtration systems due to their particle reduction properties.
Applications:
- Small and medium-sized spaces: Suitable for ventilating bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, pantries, laundry rooms, garages, workplaces, etc. Specifically designed for use in ceiling-mounted ventilation applications with a duct connection that can be attached to the exhaust fan.
Features:
- Its sleek and elegant appearance makes it an indispensable part of decorative spaces.
- The specially designed adjustable mounting mechanism allows for easy installation on ceilings with thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 20 mm without the need to drill screw holes.
- Manufactured with high-quality ABS plastic, the product provides excellent protection against bad odors, humidity, and other external factors while maintaining its original appearance.
- The air outlet flap provides optimal protection when the fan is not in use, preventing dust, bad odors, and cold from entering, while also minimizing heat loss.
- The front cover exposed to dust can easily be removed and cleaned by wiping or washing.
- With an optimal motor, body, and fan design, the noise level is kept to a minimum, while ensuring high-pressure air intake.
- Self-lubricating, maintenance-free motor bearings provide silent and long-lasting performance.
- Rated IP34 for splash water protection.
- Class II protection, requiring no ground connection.
- Our products comply with EN 60335-2-80, Low Voltage Equipment [2006/95/EC], and Electromagnetic Compatibility [2004/108/EC] standards.

Axial Fan Selection Considerations:
When selecting a fan, 4 parameters should be considered:
- Required Airflow
- Pressure Losses
- Acceptable Noise Level
- Electrical Power Connection Type
The required air exchange for the ventilation space is determined by the space's usage, the number of people and items inside, and their activities. The table on the side provides the necessary air exchange coefficients for different spaces.
Air Exchange Coefficient for Different Environments:
- Classrooms: 5-7
- Libraries: 4-5
- Home kitchens: 15-25
- Bathrooms: 5-7
- Home toilets: 4-5
- General toilets: 8-15
- Meeting rooms: 6-8
- Offices: 4-8
- Changing rooms: 6-8
To determine the required airflow: Q [m³/h] = Air Exchange Coefficient (1 hour) * Room Volume (m³) OR Q [m³/h] = Number of people * Airflow per person
For example, in an office with 5 people, a ceiling height of 2.6 meters, and a floor area of 50 m², the room volume is 130 m³ (2.6 * 50). If the air exchange coefficient for offices is 5 (as per the table), the airflow required for the space is 650 m³/h (130 * 5). Additionally, for 5 people working with normal activity (29 m³/h per person), the total airflow required is 650 + (5 * 29) = 795 m³/h.
Once the required airflow is calculated, the fan is selected based on this need.
Other Considerations:
- Where the fan will be installed: on the ceiling, wall, chimney, or ventilation duct.
- The type of electrical power supply (monophase for domestic use or trifase (380V) for industrial use).
