Magnetic Pumps: Key Features and Specifications
Magnetic pumps are designed to pump toxic and other hazardous liquids without the use of mechanical seals. Instead of relying on external electricity, these pumps operate through magnetism, making them energy-efficient and eliminating the need for seals or grease seals. Suitable for various fluids, including acids, water, and oils, magnetic pumps significantly reduce the risk of hazardous leaks or overheating due to blockages, as they lack mechanical seals.
General Features of Magnetic Pumps
Magnetic pumps contain a rotating impeller within an enclosed casing powered by a magnetic field. The rotation creates a force that propels fluid through the casing, maintaining energy and movement within the liquid. The pump's main purpose is to preserve fluid energy and motion within the system. Equipped with magnets connected to both the impeller and motor, permanent magnets in the drive assembly connect to the drive magnet, which spins when the motor is activated. This magnetic force causes the impeller to rotate, enabling fluid movement.Specifications
